WOOP!  For Christmas, I got a copy of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3, as well as a brand new lens.  Those things combined plus my upcoming trip to New York City should mean a whole bunch of new photos soon.  :) My first quarter of college is done, and by working my butt off, I managed to make a 4.0.  I'm going to do my best to keep that up this quarter, so I apologize for any lack of activity here or elsewhere.  My studies are my first priority. However, you should be seeing some new stuff when I get back from NYC, so keep watching! :D

I have had very little time to do any sort of art-related activities lately, since college seems to be eating up all of my free time.  Today, though, I was able to get out and get a few good shots.  I've already uploaded some, and some are yet to appear on dA.  I appreciate everyone who looks at them.  :) I have to go finish reading the assigned pages of my textbook for tomorrow, so that's all for this journal.  More to come soon!

I need to find some new places to take some photos.  I've basically exhausted all of my go-to parks and gardens... that will probably be my goal for tomorrow.  :) I'm thinking about experimenting a little bit in HDR photography.  It's something I've wanted to try for a while, but I haven't really taken any photos so far that would be enhanced by HDR.  I'll add that to my list of things to do. I'm leaving for college in less than two weeks now, which means that I may be too busy to post or update much here.  When I've finished adjusting and whatnot, I plan to get out and start shooting around campus and in the city.  Columbus, I'm sure, will
